Finally returns this year after the forced stop imposed by Covid, by 27 29 to August in Macugnaga (VCO) the long awaited UNCZA assembly, now in its 55th edition. The event, organized by the National Alpine Zone Hunters Union (UNCZA) - Sector of the Italian Federation of Hunting- in collaboration with the Federcaccia of Verbano-Cusio-Ossola and the Macugnaga Hunters Association, provides a rich program over the three days. On the first day, Friday 27 August, after having gathered the UNCZA council in the afternoon at 16.30 pm, which will officially open the event, the program includes a conference on the theme of the mountain at 21.00 pm.
The following day, Saturday 28, an interesting conference is scheduled at 9.30, dedicated to the extremely topical issue of climate change, environment and fauna in the Alps, introduced by the UNCZA President Sandro Flaim, who will then leave the floor to technical reports. A visit to the Walser Culture Museum and the Gold Mine Museum has been organized for those accompanying those not attending the conference. In the afternoon there will be waiting award ceremony for the winners of the competition for the thesis in the fields of biology, ethology and management of alpine wildlife and in the context of issues concerning the history and evolution of hunting, referring to the Italian Alps.
The day will end with the performance of the historical re-enactment group through the streets of the town. Sunday 29, the last day, will be dedicated to excursions and naturalistic visits in the early morning, continuing at 10.30 with the Holy Mass of St. Hubert in the parish church and then end with the hunter's social lunch on the occasion of which the Scheibe will be delivered to the section that will organize the 2022 Assembly (Source: Hunting Federation).
