THEItalian Association for Wilderness (AIW) has published a note relating to the Territorial Areas of Hunting. The press release emphasizes above all how crucial it can be one vote in ATC, both for the quorum of a board of directors and for the approval or not of a resolution. AIW has been present for a few days also in four areas of Tuscany, namely the ATC 5 Firenze Sud, ATC 12 Pistoia, ATC 15 Pisa and ATC 8 Siena, without forgetting the experience that has been going on for some time in Area 1 of Frosinone.
The increase in internal representations is mainly due to Simona Bianciardi (Pro Cinghiali Siena) ea Carlo Maltagliati, founder and coordinator of the hunting and fishing ecology units. Why is AIW so interested in joining ATCs? As explained by the secretary general Frank Zunino, these "inputs" represent the most direct counterpart to be offered to the hunting associations that help AIW to grow.
Furthermore, the note also speaks of an opportunity that all hunters should seize. Consequently, a strengthening of the Italian Wilderness Association does not only mean greater protection of the wild spaces, but also to guarantee hunters their right to attend them for legitimate hunting activities.
