Violent subjects
Yet another unacceptable episode of intolerance and physical and verbal violence from those who set themselves up as champions of the defense of nature and animals. Violent criminals - let's call them with the term that suits them - to be isolated and prosecuted according to the law, destroyed a quagliodrome in Urago d'Oglio, in the province of Brescia and left insulting epithets against the Lombard regional councilor Barbara Mazzali, guilty of a never hidden closeness with the hunters.
Federcaccia's solidarity
Federcaccia's full solidarity goes to the plant managers and the councilor. We expect a finally decisive and firm commitment from the investigating authorities to identify those responsible. These are not jokes and this way of expressing opposition to any regulated or legal activity is not acceptable in a democratic country. Hunting included. We would expect that environmentalist and anti-hunting associations would also dissociate themselves from these acts of ideological violence, but we know the wait will be in vain (source: FIDC).
The words of the Hon. Mazzali
Just the Hon. Mazzali expressed herself in this regard: “Let it be clear to everyone that this time it will not go unpunished. Destroying private property, insulting and insulting people who carry out public functions is serious and has its consequences. I will not limit myself to a simple complaint; this time it will end with yet another outrage against a community of citizens who proudly have a clean criminal record and who don't wake up early in the morning to destroy other people's property but get up to go to work and support their families. Anyone who carries out these cowardly acts in any civilized country is called a criminal and a criminal and must be prosecuted and punished by law. These people must be arrested because they are dangerous to civil society. If I didn't hold an institutional role my words would be much more explicit on these subjects. Proudly and always alongside an extraordinary world that represents our history, our culture and participates every day in making our territories grow: entrepreneurs, freelancers, doctors, nurses, workers, artisans and much more, these are the hunters".
