Many proposals for change
Much has been written in recent days regarding the numerous proposed changes to the national law 157/92, about once a week, who are crowding Parliament. A blatant lack of respect towards hunters. Our association has avoided commenting on the most imaginative ones, both the hyper-restrictive ones of the animal rights world and the unachievable and dangerous ones of the most times, more species, more everything. We analyzed the last one, the one written by the Honorable Bruzzone, finding numerous problems here too. We don't think it's a priority to abolish hunting silence days and adjust hunting days, if only for ethical reasons, especially regarding the management of resident fauna, and to avoid exposing ourselves to journalistic campaigns that significantly worsen our image in society. civil.
Many doubts
The proposal to modify the articles regarding the breeding of fauna creates many doubts for us, in fact, although we understand the final aim, we are not convinced of the form, which could be worse than the cure. Even the proposal to create the Hunting Calendar by law, a formula rejected several times by the Constitutional Court, leaves us perplexed, as does the attempt to circumvent Ispra's opinion by relying on Regional Observatories (which should be defined by a national law that indicates tasks and technical requirements) and universities (without establishing competence criteria). No prejudice, but of hasty reforms, not supported by a serious discussion and by robust and in-depth technical-legal contents, which generate strong reactions within the same majority that proposes them, we have, alas, a long list, which has brought us to a heated confrontation in the courtroom; a situation that is now unmanageable.
Other clarifications
We also invite you to pay attention to the transition to the seasonal game bag, which must be approved annually by the Regions, susceptible to appeals and which requires forms of real-time monitoring of killings. We are in favor, however, of the abolition of anachronistic hunting options and, above all, of giving national validity to hunting qualifications, a de-bureaucratization that would save time and money for hunters and public administrations. Since we believe it is a priority to let hunters live their passion in certainty, without constant legal problems, we have sent our observations on this bill to the Control Room and brought them to the hearing of the Agriculture Commission. We are available to all political forces to start a discussion that goes beyond the now daily measures. Arci Caccia …is ready (source: Arci Caccia).
