A charity party
On 13 November the Municipal Group ANUU of Mestrino, chaired by Giordano Boffo in collaboration with the Provincial Presidency of Padua chaired by Giorgio Sevarin, organized, under the patronage of the Municipality, the first Hunter's Festival for charity "among the people for the people" in favor of the association City of Hope for pediatric cancer research. For the occasion, volunteers set up a stand in Piazza del Mercato with free tastings of local specialties such as porchetta, soppressa, pancetta and cotechino.
The collected offerings
The important initiative, managed by hunters and the beautiful autumn day led to an unexpected influx of people of all ages, collecting €1.500,00 in donations. The event was attended by the National Vice President and Regional President Giovanni Persona, who congratulated the organizers for the commendable social initiative and thanked all the volunteers and institutions for the success of the day, as well as the participants who, with their generosity, will contribute to research to give a hope of life to less fortunate people.

In closing, the hope that this initiative will be the first of a long series not only in Mestrino, but in many other municipalities in the Veneto region. The check for 1.500,00 euros was handed over by Giorgio Sevarin, Giordano Boffo and the Mayor Dr. Marco Agostini to the President of the City of Hope, Dr. Andrea Camporese.
