The curriculum
51 years old, born and raised in Pisa, a chemical engineer. Andrea Andreani is the new President of ANPAM – the National Association of Manufacturers of Civilian and Sporting Weapons and Ammunition . Appointed during the association's annual meeting, Andreani previously served as Vice President during the last term (2021-2025) and as a Director since 2012. At the corporate level, Andreani is President of Cheddite Italy and Nobel Sport Italia, as well as a Director of other companies in the Sofisport group, a European leader in the smoothbore shotgun cartridge and related components industry.
The goal of the new presidency
“After years of association life, I am honored to now take on this new task, in a historical moment full of challenges for the arms and ammunition sector, given the recent regulatory developments – declared President Andreani upon his appointment – My goal will be to safeguard the unity of the Italian arms, ammunition and industrial explosives sector, promoting internal cohesion and protecting common interests in the face of increasingly stringent regulatory challenges at national and European level”.
Handover
Andrea Andreani takes over the ANPAM baton from Giovanni Ghini, who closes the mandate by announcing together with the partners that Fiere di Parma will host the next edition of EOS- European Outdoor Show, the largest event for the sector which will therefore be held in Parma from 28 to 30 March 2026 (Source ANPAM PRESS OFFICE).
