Calls to the police had come from both sides: the Carabinieri had arrived on the spot to ascertain the facts, in particular the hunters had complained the presence of animal rights activists on private property near the hunting lodge. In addition, the group had disturbed the hunting activity with whistles and other noisy instruments. The young woman told how the hunter pointed the gun at her after an argument during a wild boar hunt.
The complaint led to the trial and now it will be up to the magistrates to reconstruct the various responsibilities. In this area, similar episodes have been numerous, as happened a few months ago. The disturbance of the hunt was regulated in Veneto as a real criminal offense to be prosecuted in legal offices.
