Hunting and Weapons: satisfaction on the part of ANPAM for the corrective amendment of Law Decree n.91 of 24 June 2014 which provided for a two-shot limitation of magazines for rifles such as rifles.
Limitation to rifle magazines, Anpam satisfied with the approval of the corrective amendment. "Politics confronted the facts and in the end chose to follow the European regulatory framework, which does not include limitations of this type". ANPAM (National Association of Sports and Civil Arms and Ammunition Manufacturers, member of Confindustria) comments with satisfaction on the approval of amendment 16.18, signed by Sen. Luciano Rossi, to Law Decree n. 91 of 24 June 2014, which modified the original version of Article 16, which imposed a two-shot limitation for rifle magazines. At this point there remains the vote in the Senate of the scheme for converting the Decree into law, a passage expected with a certain degree of tranquility by the Italian arms world since the Government has raised the question of Confidence on the provision. “Politics confronted the facts - commented the lawyer. Nicola Perrotti, president of ANPAM - and in the end he chose to follow the European regulatory framework, which does not foresee limitations of this type ”.
“In recent weeks, our efforts have been multiple and all tending precisely to bring out the lack of community bases for the choice of limiting rifle magazines. Furthermore, this choice would have created enormous problems for fans and for the safety of hunters, in particular for those dedicated to the withdrawal of boars, for which an exemption of up to 5 shots has been provided ". The work done by the ANPAM at the institutional level and on the information level, has rewarded the efforts of the entire sector, restoring tranquility to hundreds of thousands of enthusiasts and to a manufacturing sector which, although among the most productive and envied in the world, is always under attack for pre-established ideological reasons rather than on the basis of serious comparisons of numbers and facts.
