vast anti-poaching operation carried out by Provincial Police of Macerata in collaboration with the voluntary hunting guards of the hunting associations. In five distinct night services that interested the entire provincial territory 12 electromagnetic acoustic signals prohibited by current legislation were identified and seized and placed in the night hours in the countryside at the hands of poachers, in places suitable for the stopping of quails which in this period are migrating to reach the wintering places.
These calls are intended to concentrate the quail in places where they can then be killed indiscriminately. The kidnappings affected the municipalities of Monte San Martino, San Ginesio, Monte San Giusto, Morrovalle, Montelupone, Appignano and Recanati. The Provincial Federcaccia of Macerata warmly thanks both its Volunteer Hunting Guards who participated in a decisive way in these services, and the Provincial Police agent who coordinated impeccably the same guards, managing to reduce these shameful acts of poaching.
Like Federcaccia we bluntly condemn every act of poaching and, precisely to protect all hunters who practice hunting in full compliance with the rules and compliance with the laws in force, we will be present on the territory with our Volunteer Hunting Guards in full collaboration with the Provincial Police, to repress any offenses (Source: Hunting Federation).
