The President of the ANUUMigratorists Marco Castellani and the President of FIdC Gian Luca Dall'Olio, on behalf of the respective statutory competent association bodies, have signed a Memorandum of Understanding to define as soon as possible, thanks to a specific Working Group set up also by adequate technical skills, a project that leads to a formal merger between the two Associations to give life to a new and unique representative of their respective social bases, hoping that this project can be shared and therefore formally participated by the other Associations as well Italian hunting. In this operative spirit, the two Associations continue their associative activity according to the programmed guidelines.
Castellani stated in this regard: “For a long time the ANUUMigratoristi has supported the need for a profound change in the organization of the Italian hunting world. I believe this initiative is truly strategic for the future of hunting in Italy and I sincerely hope that all the other hunting associations will join it, starting with those that are already part of the FACE Italia Coordination with us and to which this proposal has already been made in this location, because in this way we would really arrive at an effective recomposition of the entire hunting world of our country in the national and European operational scenario, in a modern and efficient way and finally able to face particularly difficult, but necessary, above all, challenges with the appropriate professionalism in the field of scientific research and communication with society and with institutions, also to counteract, facts and figures in hand, the many exploitation and falsehoods that are passed on to us. The European institutions, at every level, impose it on us in various aspects such as biodiversity, rurality and scientific research ".
Dall'Olio specified: "FIdC participates with conviction in this project, certain to find concrete and positive contributions in every other person who wishes to join it to become, all together, a tool for promoting and enhancing hunting corresponding to the needs posed by the times that we live.
The new Association that we intend to build, bringing together all the forces and resources available, will be based on common operational lines aimed at guaranteeing a correct and scientific management of the hunting activity, implementing our research skills in relation to the scientific world and those of land management for the purpose of its environmental improvement in relation to the agricultural world, respecting the legitimate kinetic traditions of our country and all forms of sustainable hunting, enhancing and promoting them as a whole with equal dignity and consideration.
But, in the meantime, we will favor in every way the necessary coordination between our realities both at national and territorial level to facilitate, right from the start, a more coordinated and unified action of the respective managers for the pursuit of the common hunting policy objectives. and agro-environmental management indicated in the signed Memorandum of Understanding, which looks to Europe to give back to the Italian HUNT the role it deserves ".
