In this summer season, all the hunting associations, some before, some after, have a place emphasis on the need to work to obtain the levy in derogation of the reversal and turtle dove from the collar. On the fact that these two species, ubiquitously widespread and in strong numerical increase, should be controlled, therefore, we all agree. For sure, though, it's time to let go of useless proclamations and to start working concretely.
We all wrote to the Region on the subject and the Region replied: to obtain the withdrawal during the 2019 / 2020 season, by the end of the year an adequate amount of the many damages produced by these two species must be assessed. Damages that exist and are certainly sufficient to obtain the exemption, but which are often not even reported due to the cumbersome procedures and the lack of compensation.
Often, we prefer to replace the complaint with the request for culling, an emergency practice that too many times, unfortunately, feeds the formation of patronage circles. We therefore ask hunters and farmers to cooperate, to ensure that damage situations emerge in each ATC and reach the minimum figures that will allow the Region to activate the derogation procedure. It is a battle that it involves us all and which, if well conducted, will bring benefits to hunters and the agricultural world.
