An important vote
The battle for pluralism, democracy and freedom of association carried on by Arci Caccia, Enalcaccia, Liberacaccia and Italcaccia continues in Abruzzo. Yesterday, in this Region, a very important vote took place for us, in fact, the PD Group in the Abruzzo Regional Council, through Councilor Dino Pepe, presented an amendment to modify the law that cut the participation of the free Hunting associations in ATCs. An attempt to collect our solicitations and those of the other national hunting associations that participated in the appeal against the arrogant and prevaricating attitude of the FIdC and the Giunta.
Policy support
We express our support and solidarity with the legislative initiative, and thanks to those who promoted it and to those who supported it, who found the support of those political forces who had expressed themselves in favor of the amendment, in fact the amendment, although rejected, has received the favorable vote of the Democratic Party and the League, a sign that, even in the majority and therefore in the Giunta, someone has accepted our theses. On the other hand, we regret the position taken by the 5 Star Movement which has joined the most anti-democratic part of the Giunta and Federcaccia, an association that is an enemy of dialogue and confrontation even with the environmental and agricultural world, the latter object of the same discriminating choices that affected us. We won't give up on this stop and the battle will continue both politically and legally, in defense of the law in Abruzzo and beyond. The path that will lead us to the hearing of the Aquila Regional Administrative Court on 13 December will see us engaged in building a platform with the other hunting associations to carry out awareness-raising work for hunters throughout the territory.
Unity of the hunting world
In fact, the question is not only regional and the ATCs have been occupied, with other laws and stratagems, also in other parts of Italy. We will defend the free national associations recognized by law 157/92 to which the minister of agriculture is allergic, who has assumed the right to repeal a law that Parliament voted and then only suspended. In Rome as in Abruzzo, the hunt for these gentlemen is only interesting when there is a vote, as demonstrated in recent years. We want to renew the appeal to the unity of the hunting world, this time addressing the hunters so that a union from below of all hunters can be achieved, united against the politics that wants to occupy the associations with the blessing of the usual Federcaccia (source: Arci Caccia ).
