Arci Caccia in the schools of Grosseto, even the president of the Province, Leonardo Marras intervenes in the controversy, “a project that enhances the territory. We will enhance it. "
For days now the controversy has been going on over the project of the Arci Caccia Hunting Association, aimed at bringing a greater knowledge of the fauna and flora present in the Italian territory among the pupils of the Grosseto schools; now also the president of the Province, Leonardo Marras, intervenes on the controversy that has invested the middle school of Gavorrano and Scarlino, “It is always easier to argue than to represent a point of view, even if it legitimately disagrees. For this reason I want to show my solidarity with Arci Caccia and the teachers involved in the environmental education project that involves many elementary school children ”.
Continuing, Marras recalled, “For several years now this educational project has been proposed again in schools, helping students to get in touch with our environment, to get to know the animals that live in the woods or in the countryside. Years during which I have always gone to testify with my presence the importance of this intervention that hunters take on. Just as I have always thanked the teachers for the courage they have shown, despite the fact that it was easy to run into controversy ".
President Marras then added, "Precisely considering the value of this educational work, in agreement with the hunting associations, the Province will allocate resources from the hunting budget to the continuation and enhancement of these educational paths".
Finally Marras concluded with an applause and an invitation, “Well done, therefore, to the hunters and to the school that does not back down in the face of the reproaches of the professional bigots of our house. Keep going on this path, because you will meet so many future citizens who will be grateful for helping them understand that the real world is quite different from its ideological representations, and that the nature that surrounds us is as extraordinary as it is. tiring to keep it. In a natural environment that is handed down to us also thanks to those who, like hunters, take their share of responsibility to maintain a collective good ".
