An additional appeal to the Regional Administrative Court against the new Hunting Calendar approved by the Regional Council was presented today by the anti-hunting associations (LAC - Lega Abolizione Caccia, Pro Natura) and by the Regional Councilor Andrea Stara (Group “Together for Bresso”). As ARCI Caccia, together with Enalcaccia and Italcaccia, we have already given the task to Avv. Prof. Paolo Scaparone to stand up in court against the applicants. We have tried to involve the whole hunting world in this action to defend all hunters and to ensure that the hunting exercise that has just started is guaranteed with continuity, but unfortunately both Federcaccia and Libera Caccia and ANUU have not so far agreed to share this initiative of ours.
Given the repetition of the attacks on the Regional Hunting Calendar, the fact of not acting promptly to protect the hunting activity in Piedmont seems incomprehensible. We consider the attitude of the aforementioned associations to be a very serious mistake. As ARCI Caccia Regionale, together with Enalcaccia and Italcaccia, we considered it right and right to take responsibility for the defense of all Piedmontese hunters, beyond membership.
The continuous messes and mistakes made by the Regional Council already last year, repeated this year, cause uncertainty in the performance of hunting in Piedmont and require the regional government body to tackle the problem of managing the fauna and wildlife heritage. hunting with competence and seriousness, starting from the new law, today stranded in the Regional Council.
