Last Friday, the Tuscany Tar he finally expressed his opinion on the use of the hunting calendar presented by the animal rights activists. Unfortunately, our worst fears have come true, in fact, the Regional Administrative Court has confirmed the theses of the Council of State regarding the date of close up of the woodcock and the interpretation of the hunting times which led to the reduction of the period of the species subject to pre-opening by 15 days. This is a serious decision, which takes into account, on the one hand, the positions of Ispra alone e interprets the 157/92 misleading way.
Unfortunately, this scenario was sadly predictable, given the tenor of the sentences that have ravaged the season a bit throughout the peninsula. Now the ball goes to politics, because only one legislative intervention will be able to unravel this situation. Obviously, Arci Caccia Toscana, as previously done, makes its technical scientific apparatus and its legal advisors available, who will gladly collaborate with the technicians of the Region to try to find the best possible solutions. In this regard, we invite the other Hunting Associations to join forces, because this attack must not be underestimated at all, and it is necessary to react firmly and compactly, without escaping forward and taking instrumental positions.
Because the provocation is answered with the clarification: in fact, even if we all applaud the legal initiative of Fidc, which it was formed ad opposendum to the animal rights appeal (not that it helped much), it is good to remember that without the intervention of a certain technical-scientific office (not that of Arci Caccia), which, together with those who governed in 2008, designed the modification of the famous community law, the calendars would be still armored since 157/92 ed safe from any recourse. Even on the anathema to the enemies of unity, hastily done by Federcaccia, it is necessary to clarify.
We are always available to discuss with everyone, let's sit down and arrange common actions. We are touring Tuscany organizing meetings in which hunting is discussed with hunters and political representatives and we systematically invite all associations, many have responded and contributed to the discussion in Grosseto, Pisa and Livorno, but never the majority. Our tour continues, let's see if there will be any developments. The unity of the hunting world is achieved through discussion and dialogue, not with diktat and attempts at annexation. For us the unitary path is a priority, but on an equal basis, not on the conditions and at the convenience of someone else.
