Minister's speech
The presumed simplification of the CFTVN, heralded by the Government in the declarations made by the Minister a Hunting Village, it seems to us to be the result of the will of others to exclude someone from the table, limiting representation, perhaps to continue along the path of the private model of hunting. Our interest and our purpose are to compare and collaborate to arrive at the best possible management of hunting and wildlife. Arci Caccia, in its history, has always brought an added value made of competence and balance to the discussions and the drafting of the provisions that have allowed us to continue hunting in our country.
The first test bench
We saw the first proof of this new hunting policy for restricted clubs in the approval of the Extraordinary Wildlife Control Plan. Here, arms manufacturers, poorly enlightened farmers and the hunting associations that seem to inspire the hunting policy of the Ministry of Agriculture open the door to private hunting, professional hunters, the use of rodent exterminators against wild boars and, at the same time, they exclude the hunted from the means of control. Surely this is not flour of our sack. This anti-management is the furthest thing from our ideals which are based on sustainable, public and social management of hunting.
Hunting calendar 2023-2024
We don't ask for much, just to be able to contribute, as we always have. Also because, given the ideas that seem to be all the rage, we say it modestly, there is a great need. We appreciate the statements on the pre-adoption of the Hunting Calendar by the Regional Councilor for Hunting Roberto Morroni, agreeing that hunters need certainties and not propaganda. Those of President Donatella Tesei, from whom we would have expected content and not cliches, appeared to us by circumstance (source: Arci Caccia).
