The congress meeting of Arci Caccia Umbria. The delegates confirmed Emanuele Bennati as Chairman and Stefano Fontanella as Vice Chairman. The National Vice President Bussolotti was present at the meeting, representing Arci Caccia Nazionale.

This is the political document approved by the Regional Congress of Arci Caccia Umbria:
The Congress expresses solidarity and closeness to the populations in Emilia Romagna for the extraordinary and serious calamity that has struck them. OUR ASSOCIATION IS actively active to make an economic contribution to be donated to the affected populations, this event as well as having damaged goods and people has also significantly affected the faunal heritage. We have always been and we confirm our choice in favor of SOCIAL HUNTING, which must respect a balance between collection and conservation of species, shared by civil society and practiced by us hunters with due respect for ethics and current regulations. Combining the conservation needs of species in order to restore and rebalance a faunal heritage which in recent years has seen the emergence of some species at the expense of others. It is in this sense that we reject proposals such as those which envisage the creation of large hunting reserves in favor of a few but to the detriment of all.
The role of ATCs
We also reject the will of the Minister of Agriculture who instrumentally on the altar of savings denies being part of the national technical committee of WILDLIFE the presence of all the hunting associations recognized by L 157, this attempt to effectively exclude our association which he fights for social hunting. Redefining the role of the ATCs envisaged by Law 157 and of hunters to become the driving force behind the conservation and management of wild species, helping to build a new relationship with society and restore a fundamental role to the hunter. We will be full-fledged environmentalists if our thinking is not only selfishly about today's game bag, but about the environment, life, the climate, the planet of the future.
