Arcicaccia: Paolo Sponchiado is the new president of the provincial Federation of the Arci Caccia of Treviso. He succeeds Ferruccio Carnielli, who recently passed away, an unforgettable and valiant leader of the Association who has held this position since 1969, the year of the foundation of the Arci Caccia.
The decision was unanimously taken by the members of the provincial board meeting on Wednesday 19 November in the premises of the Mareno di Piave club. Giorgio Dassiè and Pier Luigi Pittarello have been confirmed as vice presidents. The meeting opened with the memory of Ferruccio Carnielli and a minute of silence was given. In everyone's mind the battles and the many moments of protagonism of the Arci Caccia with two prestigious figures at the head were overlapped.
Together with Ferruccio Carnielli was remembered Reginaldo Bernardi, provincial vice president, who also passed away last February, Paolo Sponchiado, visibly moved, in thanking for the trust placed, confirmed his will to continue, also on behalf of all the clubs, on the road traced up to now by Ferruccio Carnielli, to renew hunting always respecting the protection and conservation of fauna and the environment, taking into account the needs of the agricultural and production world.
“It is the social hunting linked to the territory and to the traditions that we think - argued the new president - to counter the possible consumerist and paid drifts. In this context we will give the maximum support and collaboration to the regional bodies of the Association for a rapid approval of the new Regional Hunting Wildlife Plan “.
On these issues, the Arci Caccia di Treviso, in the coming weeks, will meet the institutional representatives of the Province and the other hunting associations.
The provincial executive of the Arci Caccia has confirmed all the social activities planned, with particular regard to the Trial for dogs to be followed on a hare on 7 and 8 March 2015 in Tarzo in the Prosecco Hills, National Race, which will be dedicated to Ferruccio Carnielli.
