Arci Caccia and the Consumer Movement, united for the protection of the environment and the territory, sign a memorandum of understanding aimed at this purpose; initiatives, information campaigns, fight against stray animals and defense of the rights of pet owners are planned.
National Association of Arci Caccia and Movimento Consumatori, which since their birth have joined the Arci federation, have signed a memorandum of understanding with the objectives of:
- implement projects aimed at the defense and protection of the natural environment and civil protection based on knowledge of the territory and its specificities;
- carry out information campaigns to promote the active participation of citizens for the protection of the environment, animals and the territories in which they live.
- carry out campaigns to fight against city strays and to promote the adoption of animals;
- carry out initiatives to defend the rights of citizens who own pets.
"We signed this agreement - explains Alessandro Mostaccio, general secretary of Movimento Consumatori - because we have always pursued both objectives of defense of biodiversity and the naturalness of the territory, we share the values of environmental volunteering and we promote information and the active and conscious participation of citizenship for the protection of our ecosystem ".ù
Appreciation for the agreement was expressed by the national president of Arci Caccia, Osvaldo Veneziano, who declared: "I fully shared the motivations and objectives, as represented by the Secretary of the Consumer Movement, we hope that this collaboration between the , can contribute to a better protection of citizens' rights ".
