“We express concern about the delay“ accumulated ”by the Lazio region in promulgating the regulation of the withdrawal of wildlife in the areas contiguous to the Abruzzo National Park, Lazio, Molise. Delays that do not benefit the interests of the Local Communities and the Park Authority itself, because they cause uncertainty and difficulties for local administrators and park administrators.
That at least the delay served to overcome the limits and contradictions of the previous wildlife hunting regulations. As also noted by Federparchi, it is necessary and can no longer be postponed to ensure the wildlife collection activity for hunters with hunting residence in the ATC to ensure, in a planned and non-discriminatory way for hunters, contribute to the control of populations of wild species such as the "wild boar" which, due to their presence, cause damage to agricultural crops and constitute a danger to road safety.
Consistently with the national law 157/92, many Regions have already legislated on the subject with the full involvement of ATC affected that, with the resources of the hunters registered in the ATC, also contribute to the reimbursement, possible, of the damage caused by wildlife to agricultural entrepreneurs who have been the main victims of previous regional legislations subordinate to ideological "fanaticism" which does not take into account the culture and rural economy (Christian Maffei, national president of Arch Hunting).
