Arci Caccia: Vice President Logi declared, "Immediately initiate an appeal against the Ministry of the Environment in defense of the prerogatives of the Regions".
The vice president of Arci Hunting, Massimo Logi, has expressed all his dissent against the tax intervention of the Government on the regional Hunting Calendars and proposes to "immediately initiate an appeal against the Ministry of the Environment in defense of the prerogatives of the regions". The substitute power exercised by Minister Galletti is a serious and unprecedented act. The prevailing interpretation that has made its way since the day in which the provision to reduce the Hunting Calendars of some Regions with regard to species was launched Woodcock, Tordo bottaccio and Cesena by the Ministry of the Environment, is, in my opinion, reductive and not entirely corresponding to the dimension of what is happening under our eyes: in fact, concentrating exclusively on the themes of the sampling times of these especially, to the fact-finding investigation of the European Commission and to scientific data, it risks limiting our analysis to issues which, although important, do not in themselves represent the center of the institutional and political crisis we are experiencing.
There is no doubt that the hunting world has the duty to defend with scientific data and arguments the legitimacy of some choices contained in the Calendars, also to respond firmly to those who have now surrendered to the idea that animalist impulses are the most authoritative source of inspiration for influencing the choices and actions of politics and institutions. However, the real danger lies, if anything, in wanting to determine a new centrality of the State on the matter and with it a progressive invasion of the field which is fatally destined to empty the prerogatives of the Regions.
Appeal with every tool at our disposal against the subrogation provision; Siding immediately and without hesitation alongside the Regions engaged in these hours to build a common front of resistance against a disproportionate and exceptional measure with respect to the matter of the dispute, means not only giving an answer to the issue of calendars, but also opposing the inspired centralist drift from animalism and a certain convenient environmentalism, destined to produce many other "surprises" and consequences on regional legislation.
