The National President Arcicaccia Osvaldo Veneziano writes a letter to the Mayor of Bevagna.
Dear Mayor,
I read about the motion you presented in your capacity as elected Councilor of the Province of Perugia regarding better coordination of supervision and in particular for the relaunch and more correct functioning of the restocking and capture areas. These are fundamental structures if you want to concretely manage and, where they work, they allow not only to capture wild but also to favor, in the surrounding territories, the irradiation for the whole hunting season of the wild fauna that is born, lives and plays.
Other than sterile and expensive purchases of game from abroad!
The repopulation areas where they really operate are also useful for offering suitable environments for migratory birdlife.
I have read from other sources of information about an agreement to promote collaboration between the provinces of Perugia and Siena. I ask you: why not check the possibility of extending the agreement also to hunting wildlife management activities? There are very interesting border territories from this point of view.
We greatly appreciate his initiative in a period, now too long, in which a part of politics has used the hunters only as an "electoral market" by promising them unattainable nonsense, as the facts show every day, which moreover have exposed the hunt to the public mockery. .
It will be nice that day in which instead of reading about pheasants and hares purchased and "thrown" for the opening, you can have press releases that talk about investments in environmental restoration carried out by our agricultural entrepreneurs and animals that are born and reproduce in our countryside enriching the wonderful Umbrian landscape, for the benefit of all citizens including hunters.
Hoping that the motion is successful, I offer you my most sincere and cordial greetings.
Osvaldo Venetian
