Assoarmieri expresses its commitment to the question of the abolition of the National Catalog of Firearms.
The President of Assoarmieri, Antonio Bana, with his own press release to all gunmen expresses his commitment to protect their interests and solve the problems that arose following the abolition of the national catalog of firearms.
"Dear Armsmen,
I turn to all of you as President of Assoarmieri to reiterate my commitment at the forefront to protect your interests and the interests of all those who live daily in the world of arms in Italy.
With regard to the law decree issued on 20 June 2012, we are working together with the Armourers Consortium and Anpam in order to highlight and modify some macroscopic critical issues that unfortunately have come out of the legislator's pen.
A sort of "mess" has been created after the abolition of the national catalog of firearms.
My commitment, in the very short deadlines that remain, is and will be to work to modify this legislative novel by providing those elements of certainty that derive from the existing EU regulations and directives on arms.
This legislation must represent a source of tranquility and safety for commercial operators, private individuals, for all those who belong to the arms sector and the Italian hunting world. "
Milan, July 5 2012
