The city of bubbio, in the province of Asti, hosted the conference organized by the local club ofUNCZA and dedicated to roe deer selection hunting and more suitable ammunition to use. All the hunting associations in the area were present at the Chiesa dei Battuti. The president of the UNCZA club of the province of Asti, Sisto Turco, then took the floor Daniele Sburlati, provincial number one of the Italian Federation of Hunting.
Sburlati stressed that it is necessary to deepen the knowledge of the tools of this selection hunt, exploiting the experience of those who have already gained a lot over time. There was no lack of references to ammunition that can have a greater impact on the type of ungulate. Carlo Roveta, employed by the Territorial Hunting Area, has instead illustrated how this hunting game has evolved from the beginning to the present day.
Giuseppe Audino, wildlife technician, explained how the presence of roe deer in Piedmont has changed, recounting testimonies dating back to the early nineteenth century. Carlo Bonardo, a gunsmith from Bra, intervened to reiterate how a fair and balanced ammunition is essential for every type of animal: the main calibers used in Piedmontese ATCs are the 243 W., the 6,5 × 55, the .270 W., the 7mm.RM., the .308 and the .30 / 06. Finally, the physicist Flavio Duretto spoke who explained the sense of energy and trajectory related to ammunition immediately after firing.
