The commissioner of theTerritorial area of Bari hunting and the impossibility of setting up the new management committee. These are the reasons that pushed and convinced them hunting associations of the Apulian province to write six days ago, Friday March 4 2016, a very clear and specific note to the institutions that should resolve these issues. The situation is quite complicated. As specified by the Bari provincial section of the Italian Federation of Hunting, from the local section of Free Hunt and from that of Enalhunt, the ATC has been a police station since 2014, almost two years since we are talking about the month of August. The provision of the Province of Bari - always reads in the official press release - would run counter to various rules.
In particular, reference is made to paragraphs 11 and 14 of article 14 of the Hunting Law, namely that relating to the planned management of hunting, specifically the reconnaissance of environmental resources and the disbursement of contributions for the compensation of damage caused to agricultural production. Another violated text is the Law of the Puglia Region number 27 of 1998 and its article 14 dedicated to the Territorial Areas of Hunting. The same goes for the Regional Regulation 3 of 1999, as amended in 2014, since it speaks of an ATC commissioner that cannot last more than 120 days to carry out the management of ordinary administration.
Libera Caccia, Federcaccia and Enalcaccia believe that another delay is no longer tolerable, given that they would go to harm the rights and interests of hunters. This is why the note was sent, an urgent invitation to comply with the provisions of the legislation and to install the aforementioned management committee as soon as possible. Otherwise, the associations are ready to contact the competent judicial authority. The recipients of the letter are different: we are talking about the Municipality of Bari, the ATC Commissioner Anthony Camarda and various councilors and delegated councilors who deal with agriculture, hunting and fishing.
The current Commissioner of the Sector is an associate professor in Avian Pathology at the University of "Aldo Moro" in Bari. censuses, restocking and habitat improvements. Repopulations are carried out in the period in which the hunting season is closed and away from the Natura 2000 sites: they are limited to a single species, that of the European hare, with 1100 items to be placed on the basis of very detailed procedures and compliant with the provisions of the legislative acts of the Puglia Region.
