Federcaccia Veneto, after having offered its full availability to the Region to face thebad weather emergency, turn back to the president Luca Zaia requesting a revision of the Decree for the suspension of hunting in the region. In particular, Federcaccia Veneto in his letter addressed to the local authority, while understanding the reasons behind the decision of the regional president, recommends the reopening of the hunting activity a normalized situation and, only if possible, starting next Saturday, 3th November.
Here are some extracts from the text: “We understood that the initiative was aimed at protecting the safety and security of people. We hunters practice hunting with ethics and responsibility and we are the first to want and expect our passion to be lived in total safety.
Why this wonderful, ancient and natural passion can really be lived in its fullness and charm in the midst of nature, it certainly cannot be practiced in contexts in which citizens are suffering and suffering due to a catastrophic situation. We ask the president to want evaluate the opportunity to reopen the hunting activity in a normalized situation and, only if possible, starting from Saturday 3 November 2018 ″. At this point we can only wait for the response of the governor of the Veneto on the bad weather issue.
