Firm condemnation
The serious and intolerable event that occurred in Barberino di Mugello (FI) in which a provincial police inspector was injured during an anti-poaching control operation, finds the firm condemnation of the Federcaccia Toscana -UCT, Federcaccia UCT Provinciale of Florence and of all Tuscan hunters.
Dignity and reputation
“What happened the other evening is absolutely unspeakable and only chance and luck prevented it from turning into a terrible tragedy. Poaching, always devoid of any justification or excuse, is a phenomenon against which the hunting world and our Association in the front row, also through our Volunteer Security Guards, fights with strength and determination. What is affected by this reprehensible activity is not only the faunal heritage, which as hunters we are called to protect and manage, but also our dignity and reputation. Every time an act of poaching is brought to the attention of society it is always a hard blow to the honorability of hunters and hunting, comparing our category, made up of honest and law-abiding citizens, to unscrupulous characters who not only cannot be defined as hunters, but often they don't even have a hunting license in their pocket" declared Marco Salvadori Regional President of Fedecaccia Toscana-UCT.
Maximum solidarity
“For my part, of the Federation that I preside over and of all the hunters it represents, we express the utmost solidarity and closeness to the injured inspector of the Provincial Police of Florence and to all the operators of the same, engaged in the territory on a daily basis” (source: FIDC-UCT Tuscany).
