For the eighth time Benelli Arms confirms the close link between the company, the territory of origin and art, by rewarding a young student winner of the call for proposals on the theme "Crossing nature" aimed at students and graduates, for no more than three years, at the Academy of Fine Arts of Urbino.
The artistic commission, composed by profs. Pino Mascia, Giovanbattista Sartore, Luigi Carboni, by Arch. Marco Gaudenzi and Eng. Massimiliano Nobile, has selected, as the winner, the project of the young student Antonio Giusti entitled "Where are you?". The choice was motivated by the fact that the work creates a suggestive interpretation of the idea of crossing as a rite of passage and projects the viewer into an illusionistic scene where borders lose their real perceptual dimension.
The installation was created in such a way as not to overwhelmly invade the spaces with its material presence, on the contrary it camouflages itself in the environment and interacts synergistically with nature, reflecting and restoring its original splendor to it. The work, inaugurated by the President of Benelli, Ing. Cav. del Lavoro Luigi Moretti together with the President of the Academy of Fine Arts of Urbino was set up in the entrance corridor to the Company so that whoever crosses it immediately becomes a user, and experiences the sensation of immersing oneself in a concentration of stimuli typical visuals of the natural world. A dutiful applause was also given to the other two young students of the Academy, Romeo Chebak and Elisa del Pero, classified respectively in second and third place.
