2022 is the year the Urbino-based company decides to expand its award-winning Benelli LUPO BE.ST bolt-action rifle with a new model featuring wooden stocks. Here are some photos of the new Benelli LUPO Wood BE.ST.
The new Benelli LUPO Wood rifle, in addition to being beautiful to look at, obviously features the best Benelli technologies and is available for the Italian market in the 308 WIN, .30-06 SPRG, .300 WM, 8×57 JS calibers . The rigid steel bolt box is perfectly integrated into the aluminum chassis receiver which, together with the barrel-action design, ensures excellent accuracy in all conditions of use.
The Benelli LUPO Wood BE.ST is equipped with a CRIO floating barrel and BE.ST, the proven Benelli surface treatment, a reliable barrel finish that prevents rust, corrosion, and abrasion. In terms of accuracy, the Benelli LUPO Wood BE.ST has excellent ballistic performance, and when using high-quality commercial ammunition, the accuracy is sub-MOA and consistent over 3 shots fired.
In addition to the shiny BE.ST barrel finish, the new Benelli LUPO Wood features premium European walnut finished with WoodFX laser engraving and equipped with a sling attachment. Compared to the polymer version, the new LUPO Wood BE.ST features a Montecarlo Bavarian profile stock with a specific, very high and contoured buttstock configuration, specifically designed to allow a head position that facilitates the natural alignment of the eye with the optic lenses.
Here too, BENELLI research and development have intervened with a special butt plate featuring specific technology dedicated to the recoil reduction system called Progressive Comfort, a true recoil reduction system , which provides maximum stability and faster second target acquisition. Nothing is left to chance, the checkering features AirTouch Grip surfaces along the forend and grip, offering a solid grip in all weather conditions.
