The new Raffaello 500 Anniversary 12 and 20 express pure beauty and represent the essence and uniqueness of Benelli. On the 500th anniversary of Raffello's death, Benelli has created this couple of limited series that celebrate the beauty and art of a son of Urbino, a brilliant artist, protagonist of the Italian Renaissance. It is said that on the day of his death the Vatican rooms that had made him so famous were moved by a violent shock and that the sky turned black.
An exclusive semi-automatic and an object of great technological content, which cannot ignore constructive attention worthy of the most attentive craftsman. The celebratory limited series (1000 pieces in 12 gauge, 500 in 20 gauge) was created with care and attention to every single detail. Stock and fore-end are in Grade 4 European walnut, finished with oil and wax, the stock with special polyurethane pad is equipped with the comfortable Progressive comfort, useful for cushioning the blows on the shoulder. As in all limited series, there is the possibility to customize the silver guard supplied with the shotgun.
The carcass of the two semiautomatics differs in engravings and ornaments, a true instinctive trait for a limited series of great class and elegance. The scrollwork is present on the two sides and on the back, but the limited series distinguish the subjects depicting the different hunting prey. In the 12 gauge are represented on the right flank mallards in flight and on the left pheasants also in flight emphasized by a golden finish. The 20 gauge has woodcocks in flight on the right while partridges in flight on the left.
The Raffaello 500 Anniversary models are equipped with high-performance Crio Power Bore barrels with selected 18,3 and 18,4 mm holes, made unique by the exclusive BEST (Benelli Surface Treatment) protective coating that guarantees very high resistance to corrosion and abrasion. The barrels of the 12 are available in the lengths of cm 61, 65, 70, 76 and with the barrels of cm 70 the spearguns weigh about 2,900 kg unloads. For the rifles of 20 the barrels are 66 cm and 71 cm, with the 65 barrel the weight is about 2,650 kg. The semi-automatic is suitable for all types of hunting, mostly migratory, easy to handle and immediate in targeting, it represents a guarantee both for performance and for investment.
