A first of May in the name of business loyalty. As reported by Brescia Today, the day on which the Labor Day is celebrated was chosen by Pietro Beretta Arms Factory to award prizes to employees who have been working for the longest time Gardone Val Trompia plant.
The group's goal was to organize a ceremony in grand style, recognizing at the same time each "elderly" worker the right contribution made through fidelity, a commitment that has allowed Beretta itself to grow and evolve over the years. President Franco Gussalli Beretta was present and wanted to highlight in his speech how important people and new technologies are from the point of view of quality and industrial competitiveness.
The initiative was set up thanks to the group of Beretta "senior" workers, headed by Alessandro Moretti. The awards concerned 71 Guests: this is a prestigious award with the gold badge to celebrate 25 years of service, an award destined for 20 employees, including President Gussalli Beretta himself. Another 35 employees were given the gold medal for 35 years of company longevity, while 19 workers have boasted the gold medallion for 40 years of career in the Lombard group.
