Also this year in Monte Grimano Terme on Saturday 21 and Sunday 22 July 2012 will be held the now traditional Black Truffle Festival of the Conca Valley and race with dogs, a festival that tends to enhance the black truffle of the Conca Valley and more general the products of local organic farming, two days dedicated to food and wine and the tasting of this tasty and precious tuber, and fun (truffle harvesting competition with dog and final prize giving, games and live music).

In Monte Grimano the traditional Black Truffle Festival has been taking place in July for more than fifteen years now, where local truffle hunters are happy to sell their products and show and explain all the art that lies behind this fantastic tuber. . It is now also traditional to hold a search competition for truffle dogs where every year the best truffle dogs from all the Marche and Romagna come to make a fine show of themselves.
Two days dedicated to culture (there will be a conference / debate on the cultivation and regulation of truffle harvesting), food and wine (stands open all day where you can taste typical dishes of the area based on truffles) and fun (harvest competition truffles with dog and final prize giving, games and live music). In short, two days to spend in this small town with medieval origins but known above all for its green landscapes, healthy air and its special thermal waters.
