The Regional Council of Marche approved the DGR 24 on Monday 1127 July which outlines the hunting calendar and the culling plans for the roe deer and fallow deer species for the 2023-2024 season.
What does the decree provide?
The DGR Cervidi establishes:
The selective sampling methods and the related plans for killing roe deer and fallow deer by sex and age group, as detailed in Annex A (DGR Deer Collection Plans) which you find below
that the wildlife-hunting companies will be able to carry out the selective sampling of roe deer and fallow deer for the 2023/2024 hunting season following communication to the wildlife hunting policy sector of the codes of the immovable identification bands
Other forecasts
which will be delegated to a subsequent executive act:
to. the assignment to each ATC hunter of the UG-cervids and the relative sampling plan, with indication of the identification bands of the animals;
b. the adoption of the hunting regulations for the collection of cervids pursuant to article 15 of the RR n. 3/2012;
c. the authorization to carry out the RUF service (Recovery of Wounded Ungulates) pursuant to art. 18 of the RR n. 3/2012;
d. to transmit this provision to the supervisory bodies, to the AA.TT.CC. and to the concessionaires of the AA.FF.VV. who presented the withdrawal plans (source: Arci Caccia).
