A project that is renewed and perfected from year to year. "Chioccola ... mind" is the initiative conceived by Provincial Federcaccia of Brescia and dedicated to students of lower secondary schools and the first classes of upper secondary schools. The guys involved are the ones who reside in Bresciano, from the Bassa to the Val Trompia. The provincial councilor of Federcaccia, Romano Bregoli, and Dr. Silvia Luscia introduced the project by talking about tradition of hunting in history, in particular the settlements of Val Trompia and Val Camonica.
Art and poetic texts have always recalled the cultural value of the hen and in particular Giovanni Pascoli is considered the first poetic "hen" who exploited the onomatopoeia. "Chioccola ... mente" was also characterized by a practical workshop curated by Camillo Prosdocimo, who stimulated the children tolistening and recognition of the birds' sounds.
A final selective test, then, allowed to reward 15 students who have deepened the techniques of the chioccolo with excursions on the territory, demonstrations of assembly tents and the nice "Bingo of the hunter". The aim of the initiative is to weave new social relationships of mutual help and collaboration: hunting has once again demonstrated how deep its cultural aspects, well beyond the simple playful moment.
