Il European Parliament is ready to host a new conference that closely concerns the hunting world. The title of this conference to be held in Brussels, in fact, is "The future of the Nature Directives: where are we going?“, Scheduled for the next one 7 March from 17:30 to 19:30. The organization was edited by FACE (Federation of Associations for Hunting and Conservation of the European Union) within the Parliamentary Intergroup "Biodiversity, Hunting and Rural Activities".
What will we talk about specifically? The results achieved in the Fitness Check, i.e. the verification of adequacy with regard to the Nature Directives, focusing attention on the minor conflicts caused byincrease in bird populations. The presentation will cover the case of cormorants and geese, without forgetting the conservation of large carnivores and their management in the same context.
The initial greetings will be entrusted to Karl-Heinz Florenz, president of the Parliamentary Integruppo: there will then be the introduction by the Honorable Member Renata Briano (vice president of the Intergroup) and a series of speeches. Specifically, Nicola Notaro, Erica Von Essen, Volker Böhning (number two of FACE), Jacques Trouvilliez and Gian Luca Dall'Olio (vice president of FACE and national president of Federcaccia).
