For hunters, the obligation to return the controlled hunting card (Tcc) gives time until March 31st. Those who have dedicated themselves to the hunt for starling, by February 28, must complete the summary form at the end of the Tcc and deliver it to the provincial office.
The Region has also set itself the objective of providing for the optical reading of all the badges, to provide the Provinces and the ATC with the analysis of all the data, in time to organize the next hunting season. In January, inside the SPAs, with the exception of ungulates, it is possible to hunt exclusively on two fixed days a week: Thursday and Sunday.

"This year - explains the councilor for hunting, Libero Asioli - using the voluntary network typical of the ATC organization, it was possible to provide ample and fast support to agricultural businesses both for the prevention of damage from wildlife and for their compensation ". The most evident result is the notable decrease in the ascertained damages, which, net of the legal deductible, amount to a total of 221.129 euros.
Corvids, pigeons, starlings, coypu, fox and Louisiana red shrimp, will be monitored by the wildlife observatory wanted by the Region and will keep the census data updated, to achieve the objectives set by the new wildlife hunting plan. Together with the ATCs competent for the territory, within the management of protected areas (refuge areas and Zrc), special electrified fences have been effectively tested to help repopulate and reproduce wildlife.
In the areas affected by the Chikungunya, necessary biological samples were taken from the otters present in the river areas. Also check the horses, carrying the causative agent of West-nile. But also biological and blood samples of wild boars, roe deer and foxes. To date, there are no positive cases. “Our Province - continues Asioli - was the first to be declared free from brucellosis for some time now”.
The Provincial Police has carried out numerous interventions in order to maintain monitoring of the territory. Voluntary sworn guards have also been involved in this activity, who, following the agreements signed with the Province, carry out coordinated surveillance activities.
The most frequently encountered violations concern failure to comply with safety distances, failure to sign the regional card and failure to comply with timetables as regards administrative sanctions. While in criminal matters there are cases of use of the electromagnetic acoustic repeater.
