Appointment at the end of the month
Friday 30 June 2023 from 9.00 to 17.30 in the Aula Magna Silvio Trentin, Ca' Dolfin (Dorsoduro, Venice) the Department of Philosophy and Cultural Heritage and the Department of Economics of theCa 'Foscari University of Venice organize an interesting conference on large predators. Numerous technical-scientific interventions are planned. In the first part of the day we will talk about the conservation and management of large predators from a legal and biological point of view, to then move on to the reintroduction of the bear in Trentino.
Imbalances in protected areas
The morning papers will end with a look at the evolution of the man-nature relationship in Italy over the last fifty years and the ecological imbalances in protected areas. The second part of the conference will focus on the pronouncements of the Tar and the Council of State and the role of Ispra in the decision-making processes, to then finish with the role of environmental associations in the management of large predators.
