Quality events
Hunting Village is preparing to reopen its doors from 10 to 12 May 2025 at the Umbriafiere exhibition centre in Bastia Umbra (Pg), confirming itself once again as the most important point of reference for hunting and shooting enthusiasts in central and southern Italy. The quality of the events and exhibitions, attention to the most current issues in the hunting sector and the anticipation of many aspects transversal to hunting that have then become an important topic of debate and attention (see the creation for several years of an area dedicated to wild meat supply chains), have always been a distinctive sign of Caccia Village, which attracts visitors and professionals from all over the country every year.
What's New at Caccia Village 2025
Among the main themes of this year will be hunting tourism. In fact, a special session dedicated to incoming from abroad will be introduced, with the aim of promoting Italy as a destination of excellence for hunting. “This rapidly growing segment,” says Andrea Castellani, owner of Caccia Village, “represents a unique opportunity to enhance our territory and our hunting traditions at an international level, as well as a strategic opportunity. This initiative,” continues Castellani, “is motivated by a growing demand for high-quality hunting experiences that we have intercepted in recent years, where the beauty of the naturalistic scenery of the Italian territories combines with the excellence of hunting practices. The valleys, mountains and hills of Italy offer a variety of environments ideal for different types of hunting: from small game to wild boar hunting experiences, up to regional specialties. The session will aim to present these offers abroad, creating a networking environment between operators in the sector, travel agencies, and hunting enthusiasts.”
Wild food
Another new feature will be the expansion of the “Cibo Selvaggio” exhibition area, which for the 2025 edition of Caccia Village will have a significant evolution with its new location within the exhibition pavilions. The 2025 theme of Cibo Selvaggio will be the processing and preservation of wild meat with an exhibition area dedicated to the most modern meat preservation equipment, including for domestic use. From cold storage rooms to maturing tanks, to drying machinery, up to equipment for cooking small game, visitors will be able to explore a wide range of innovative tools and technologies designed to optimize each phase of the process. To complete the theme of processing and preservation and wild meat, a daily program of practical demonstrations conducted by expert chefs in the field of game and wild cuisine with tasty and innovative recipes, but above all practical advice on techniques for preparing and preserving meat at home.
