The Libera Caccia association has organized the ninth edition of the event which will be attended by individuals, couples and wetsuits at the Zocca box office.

THENational Free Hunting Association has organized the ninth edition of the Memorial Jasmine Cantelli at the BO-2 Bologna Territorial Hunting Area. This is the work test on hare destined to follow dogs, an event that is sponsored by theItalian National Dog-loving Body (ENCI) and from Italian Society Pro Segugio Luigi Zanchetti. The meeting is fixed at the Trattoria-Breakfast "Al Botteghino" in Botteghino di Zocca, a hamlet in the municipality of Pianoro (Bologna). The admitted categories will be singles, couples and mutes; furthermore, registered dogs must be equipped with CAC (the certificate of aptitude for the Italian championship), while those not enrolled must have the "excellent" qualification.

Animals must also be in possession of the qualification booklets. The regulation foreseen for this job test is the one established by ENCI with the modalities of the Libera Caccia association. To form the rankings of the individual categories, judges must take into account the orderly and correct work of the participants, the methodicality of the search, the ability to find, the tenacity shown in the pursuit of the hare and the style of the breed.

The killing of the wild animal in the sketch is not allowed, while the one pursued can be killed on the recommendation of the ENCI judge. The points of merit to be awarded are different. He looks for her (passion, discipline and connection) is rewarded with 20 points, while the combination makes it possible to obtain 30, based on the sense of smell, the confidence in the evaluation of the taste and the spirit of moulting. Another 30 points are assigned in relation to the scovo: the judges will therefore evaluate the perception of the proximity of the hare's den and the initiative shown in the solution of the throw-in foul.

The points are 40, instead, for the follow-up, consequently the judges will carefully evaluate the safety of the dogs, their persistence, the behavior in the solution of the fouls and also the cohesion. We must not forget the 30 points awarded for the item, in particular the expressiveness of the latter in compliance with the working standard. Compliance with the labor standard (breed style, morphology, intelligence and particular aptitudes) allows you to gain another 50 points. However, there are also penalties.

For example, judges can deduct points in the event of precarious psychic balance, of the rumor given without reason, of the slip caused to his teammates and when recovery is delayed at the end of the test. Further elimination defects are the abandonment of the sequel to move on to other uses, the canter's inability to guide dogs and the insistence on animals of other species without having the possibility of recovery. A trophy and a gold medal will be awarded to the subject with the absolute highest score among the three categories.
