There are new and important updates regarding the ringing station Mouth of Caset which is located at Shivering, in the province of Trento. The structure has published in the last few days, through its official Facebook profile, a really interesting post.
Here is what you can read"The signs that the migration has started are now unmistakable! The number of black wet nurses captured during the night is growing, followed by long-range migrants typical of the period (beccafico, stiff neck, scops owl). We also take advantage of the hours of darkness to monitor the movements of the bats and, after the dwarf bat found online, we also discover a small "roost" (the shelter where these animals rest) on the roof of the building that houses our station!"(Facebook account of Bocca di Caset station).
