Three full days dedicated to a hunting event that has very noble intentions to achieve. We are talking about tradition "Hunter's Feast" that will cheer the city of Castro (province of Bergamo) from 8 to 10 July next. The event has now reached its twentieth edition and the proceeds will be donated in full to charity to associations that take care of children and people with disabilities.
The reference went to institutions such as Sovere's CDD, the Endine Gaiano Family Center, Oltre a Noi Alto Sebino (also from Lovere) and the Blue Angel of Bergamo. The organizers are part of the local section of the ANUUMigrators and the program is really very rich. There will be entertainment activities and several food stands: as every year, in fact, the typical dishes of the festival will be based on local game.
In previous editions, the focus was also on salmì and alternative recipes. Among the thanks addressed by the hunters we should mention those for the Valle Borlezza Alpine Area, the Pro Loco di Castro and the sections of Solto and Solto Collina of the same ANUUMigratoristi. Castro was promised three unforgettable days and the two decades of life of this celebration are a guarantee that is worth more than many words.
