Point of view
Change the Law 157 / 92, the regulatory text on hunting activity? President Massimo Buconi intervenes on the topic to explain Federcaccia's position. Here's what he said on the matter: “More and more often I am asked a question, why is Federcaccia so cautious about law reform? Why don't we convincingly support those who present legislative and amendment proposals? This is a very important text, very delicate as well as unimplemented in some parts 31 years after its approval".
What the law needs
The comment continues: “In other parts it is not adequate and needs maintenance, but not of ideologies or even of fans. Instead, it needs thought, insights into management and representation, without forgetting that it should take into account new sensitivities, changes and issues related to the climate. It was the hunters who changed, as well as the agricultural or manufacturing businesses."
FIDC's thoughts
Buconi finally added: “There is no shortage of economic and employment implications: in practice it is a law that requires intelligent innovations, the result of a discussion without ideological barriers. Federcaccia is in favor of updating the text but not for coups that could renew clashes without any benefit for hunting activity".
