Il Ministry of the Environment and the Protection of the Territory and the Sea made official the appointments of the new leaders of ISPRA. The Higher Institute for Environmental Protection and Research, supervised by the department itself, has a new president and new members of the board of directors and the scientific council. The number one of the Institute will be Stephen Laporta, who has already held the role of general manager on behalf of the entity.
The inauguration as president dates back to last July 15, therefore ISPRA has had a brand new guide for exactly one week. As for the Board of Directors, on the other hand, Miriam Lanza and Giovanni Immordino are the new members, without forgetting the confirmations of Mauro Libè and Alfredo De Girolamo Vitolo. The Scientific Council, then, can count on three novelties, namely Michele Scardi, Luca Mercalli and Porzia Maiorano, in addition to the confirmed directors, namely Andrea Segrè and Francesco Venerando Mantegna.
For the Institute it is a very intense period, given that day after day i are taking shape hunting calendars of the various Italian regions as regards the hunting season 2017-2018, therefore the same number of opinions must be provided (mandatory but not binding).
