Hunting and Charity in Campania. Last Sunday at the Dog Training Area type "C" - "Polledrara" in Cellole (CE), the Federcaccia section of Sessa Aurunca chaired by the President Domenico Rispoli, organized a dog competition with Sant'Uberto regulation on quail released.
The event, strongly desired by all the members of the aforementioned section and judged by Mr. Antonio Romano, was attended by about fifty competitors who, thanks to both British and continental auxiliaries, gave rise to exciting and hard-fought rounds of competition during which the jury had to take into account small details or nuances of each subject in the race to assign the score and determine the final classification that saw many competitors enclosed in a few points.
The event was particularly successful with the public who came to attend the performances of the competing pairs; large participation also due to the pleasant temperatures and the excellent welcome always reserved by the manager of the structure, Mr. Alfredo di Paolo and his wife Mrs. Maria Fava. The central theme of the day, articulated and reiterated by all the insiders, was only one: solidarity!
In a historical context where certain types of diseases often prevail over a defenseless population and in a territory cataloged by the media as "Land of Fires", the Federcaccia section of Sessa Aurunca wanted to send a strong message to the people who suffer and to all 'public opinion: the entire sum obtained from the brilliantly organized sporting event was donated to the Italian Association for Cancer Research - Campania delegation, as an incentive and collaboration to defeat the disease of the century.
The sporting activity in question was an opportunity to make all the participants and the public present better known about the actual research work carried out by the AIRC and the importance of the studies and discoveries made to date. The event was also a reason for the rediscovery and relaunch of a territory that offers landscape, environmental and agri-food beauties and excellences such as that of the Domizio and Aurunco coast which since the time of the Ancient Romans has known glorious eras and represented a territory of passage and residence of illustrious peoples and leaders and that still today offers immeasurable possibilities for economic, social and environmental revitalization: we are in the "Land of the Sun"!
The organizing section, thanking all the competitors who have come, reiterates the importance of collaborating alongside these research bodies and sends greetings to the next solidarity activity to be organized.
