Cheddite, a Livorno-based company famous for its hunting cartridges, is one of the 14 finalists of the "Business Award for Safety" which was established by Confindustria and INAIL. In addition, the Tuscan group also received a special mention, since it was one of the Italian companies most committed to safety management. The plant manager was present for the occasion, Emile Mariella, while Mauro Silvis represented theANPAM file (National Association of Sports and Civil Weapons and Ammunition Manufacturers).
The satisfaction was palpable, a recognition for the efforts made in this area, as desired in a far-sighted way by the owners. As Mariella himself explained, targeted investments have been made, but the goal would never have been achieved without the precious collaboration of all those colleagues who have made the culture of safety a real corporate excellence.
Stefano Fiocchi, number one of the ANPAM, expressed his satisfaction with what is an important confirmation. According to Fiocchi, in fact, the companies that are part of the trade association are characterized by such efforts, with the production of weapons and ammunition that must be synonymous with job security, as well as elements such as research and development, reliability and design.
