Necessary inspections
The story of the 9-year-old boy injured by a wild boar in theSpargi Island which is part of the well-known Maddalena archipelago. The island municipality itself has convened a technical table and, as underlined by the mayor Fabio Lai, there will be inspections to understand how dangerous the wild animal actually is.
A new table
The technical table involved, in addition to the mayor, the National Park Authority, the Port Authority, the Traffic Police, the Forestry and the Barracella Company. It has been decided to convene a new table in two days, furthermore the hypothesis of a demolition will be seriously considered. However, there are problems with this type of solution.
The clarifications of the mayor
Indeed, summer is still in full swing and the presence of other people on the island complicates the withdrawal which must be carried out safely. However, Lai himself was keen to add an appropriate clarification: "It is important to remember that wild boars are wild animals and feeding them is a crime."
