CINOFILIA - Good quality soils, and game released for this purpose that has shown appropriate reactions to test the qualities of dogs. This is the sight of the company La Boratella, on 10 September, for the 2017 S. Uberto Spinoni Championship. Even the weather, which at first promised nothing good, at the end of the draws for the combination of batteries and judges stabilized allowing the smooth running of the event.
Going to a summary of the test (the kind Counselor of the Club, Avv. Luca Maffioli, provided us with the main details), it should be noted that the judges' reports showed an average level of dogs improved compared to the last edition. More than thirty dogs entered, including the pairs participating in the individual test. A test, for this important and historic Italian breed (www.spinone-italiano.it), which corresponds in every respect to a normal situation on any hunting day, with the added advantage of allowing the verification of the subjects that are used. throughout the peninsula addressing the different environmental and game situations. Good organization, by the Club's Emilia-Romagna delegation, despite some logistical difficulties to be faced even at the last hour.
Together with the institutional purpose of the event, the first “Emidio Rusticali” Trophy was announced to be assigned to the person who had won the title of winner and Italian Champion Sant'Uberto per Spinoni. Emidio Rusticali, from Forlì, who has held the position of CISp delegate for Emilia-Romagna with commitment and dedication for many years, passed away only a few months ago, and left a great void both within the Delegation of Emilia-Romagna and the entire CISp structure.
To the test of the facts, the response of the field highlighted, for the team title, a ranking that saw the triumph of the team from Emilia Romagna, followed by Lombardy then by Tuscany and Veneto. Congratulations to the young Dario Berna of the Lombard team with his Ugo, who won the first “Emidio Rusticali” Trophy. The Trophy was handed over by the children and the wife of the late Emidio, to whom went a heartfelt thanks for having honored the event with their presence.
At the end of the test, the participants moved to the hunting lodge of the company, for lunch with friends, in the atmosphere of friendship that has always distinguished the Club, combining the aggregative purpose with the technical one of the event. It is our duty to thank the CISp Emilia-Romagna delegation, Paolo Amadori and all those who are involved in organizing the event, ensuring that everything took place in perfect harmony. The reality that Sant'Uberto 2017 showed for Spinoni is that even today the good dog world is still made up of men and dogs. Men and dogs who live the reality of things, with pros and cons. They live hunting with the introduced and natural game, they live of respect and humility, of the desire to know, to confront and improve themselves.
The Federal Judges judged the evidence (hunting attitudes of the subjects presented, and general behavior of the handlers / hunters) Santandrea, Vannuzzi, Ottaviani, Delsepia, Pampaloni, Bosoni. The breed experts on the other hand were Zanotti, Pacini, Carniati, Toninelli.
