The fascination of clay pigeon shooting
In December, the Italian Clay Pigeon Shooting Federation set a new important milestone in its relationship with the school world. In the premises of the Liceo Manzoni of Caserta, a training course on the subject of shooting was organized as part of the CARE Project (culture, self-control, rules, emotions) dedicated to the teachers of Motor Sciences of Campania: the course was organized on the digital platform SOFIA of Public Education.
Scholastic world
Among the promoters of the initiative there is also Massimo Tafuri, creator of the now famous Shooting & Control project and responsible for relations between Fitav and the school world. Here is what the teacher said about it: "Before indicating in detail the characteristics of this initiative, I would like to point out how decisive some of the main players in this project have been in its implementation: we owe it to the sensitivity of Professor Adele Vairo, head teacher of the Manzoni High School in Caserta, if the idea has in fact been translated into reality. Professor Vairo is a manager who is particularly attentive to the importance of Physical Education as a tool for correct growth for the students of her institute and this sensitivity of hers has favorably met the interest shown in the disciplines of skeet shooting by Professor Antimo Nero: teacher of Physical education and department head of the sports sector of the same Liceo Manzoni ".
The commitment of FITAV
He then added: "The strong commitment promoted by Fitav in this project has therefore happily benefited from the availability of the two teachers and the synergy between the Federation and the Caserta institute has made it possible to carry out this training seminar which has received clear appreciation from the of the participants who came to the Liceo Manzoni from all over Campania. Moreover, it should be emphasized that the training course has also generated interest in many of the students of the Caserta institute which, not surprisingly, has a sporting focus."
