The annals of the race
The Uno d'Oro races return on Sunday 11 August on the platforms of the TAV La Torre (PI), which will attract young specialists coming from all over Italy. The girls and boys of the Youth Sector will measure their athletic preparation and technical skills by competing for the three steps of the podium and a place for their name in the annals of the competition. According to the program, the Uno d'Oro will take place differently compared to the races we are used to, since it is divided into three phases. The first is a classic qualification of 2 series of 25 targets for both specialties, after which the first 12 classified in the Fossa and the first 6 classified in the Skeet will have access to the next phase.
The arrival in the semi-final
After having reset the scores, we will proceed to a semi-final in which two-person matches will be played with a single series of 25 targets with direct elimination. The first classified in qualifying will compete with the last, the second with the penultimate and so on.
The 25 target final
The 6 winners of the Fossa semi-final and the 3 winners of the Skeet semi-final will enter the third phase and will compete in a 25-target final. The top three get a place on the podium and the FITAV medal. Of note for clay shooting enthusiasts is the awarding of the Tricolore of the Italian Doublet Championship, which will be held on Saturday 10th and Sunday 11th August on the platforms of the TAV Tana del Lupo (AV).
