An early-hours domination
It is the Tuscany team that raises Regions Trophy of Skeet of the 2024 edition at the Tav Bottaccia in Rome. The sextet consisting of Paolo Micheli, Matteo Bragalli, Andrea Lapucci, Stefano Privitera, Adriano Bandini and Tommaso Calistri last Sunday showed great technical quality and tenacity, placing themselves in first position since the first series, leaving no room for their opponents to recover in the subsequent ones. The score that allowed the Tuscans to climb to the top step of the podium stands at 549/600, a good 20 clays of difference compared to the home team of Lazio, formed by Cristian Giudici, Edoardo Aloi, Eleonora Ruta, Sergio Forlano, Antonino Paolo Poeta and Andrea Sebastiani, second with the final score of 529/600.
Best individual scores
Behind the Lazio team was the Sardinia team composed of Salvatore Pilurzi Pirina, Antonio Bellu, Fabio Mazzu, Mauro Dettori, Nicolò Diturco and Efisio Loi, who took the bronze with a score of 528/600. Among the three best individual scores were the names of Michele Manzella of the Apulian team, who pulverized 98/100 clays to place himself at the top of the overall ranking and two shooters of the Tuscany team, Paolo Micheli and Matteo Bragalli, both with tests of 97/100 at the end of the four partials, respectively the second and third best overall score.
The success of the race
The medals and the Trophy were awarded to the winners in the presence of the General Secretary of the Italian Shooting Federation Mario Magnanini.
